[ARCHIVED] Morro Bay Holiday Festivities Kick-off this Friday, December 3

Below is a summary of the winter holiday events (for all ages) in Morro Bay:  

1) The City of Morro Bay’s Tree Lighting Celebration event will be held at City Park on Friday, December 3rd, from 3:30pm to dusk.  This free event includes holiday performances, hot cider, cookies and an opportunity to say hello to Santa.  

2) The City of Morro Bay’s Breakfast with Santa event will be held at the Morro Bay Community Center (1001 Kennedy Way) on Saturday, December 4th, from 8:30am to 11:30am.  $10 per ticket, includes pancake breakfast made by our local Kiwanis Club and a trip through The Elf Workshop.  

*Special thanks to the City of Morro Bay Recreation Division for coordinating these fun events!

3) The Morro Bay Lighted Boat Parade event kicks off on Saturday, December 4th, at 5:30pm in the Embarcadero area.  Special thanks to the Morro Bay Rotary Club for organizing this free event!  

4) Last but not least, the season would not be complete without Caroling with the Cops.  Hosted by the Morro Bay PD and Neighborhood Watch (and Santa), Caroling with the Cops event will make their annual ride through Morro Bay the evenings of Monday, December 6th through Wednesday, December 8th from 5:30pm to 9:00pm each night.
