HIGHWAY 1 CLOSURE
Due to rising floodwater in and surrounding Morro Creek, Highway 1 is being closed in both directions between Morro Bay Blvd. and San Jacinto. The Highway will be reopened as soon as possible, in coordination with CalTrans.
Highway 41 is still open. Vehicles coming southbound will be able to turn around and head north or go west on Highway 41. Vehicles coming northbound will be able to turn around and go back to San Luis Obispo.
There is currently no estimated time for reopening.
