Federal and state lawmakers representing San Luis Obispo County have joined County officials to host a public information session on the development, implementation, and impacts of offshore wind development off the coast of San Luis Obispo County. The public information session will be held on November 1, 2023 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the San Luis County Government Center at 1055 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo. A virtual option is available for those who are unable to attend in person.
The public information session will feature multiple panels of local officials, including Mayor Wixom, as well as industry experts who will provide up-to-date information on the development of offshore wind in the region.
