How to Watch City Meetings While Channel 20 is on Pause

Over the past several weeks, the City has experienced some significant audio failures during City Council meetings, which we know are very frustrating for our viewing audience.  After looking into the issues and consulting with the architect and builder of the new A/V system, we believe the failures are a result of old equipment associated with Channel 20 and SLOSPAN.

As a result, City meetings will temporarily not air on Channel 20 while the City evaluates how to best integrate cable broadcasting within the new audio-visual system in the Vet's Hall.  The pause will allow time to address recent technical issues, such as audio and video glitches, and to explore options for providing the most reliable and accessible broadcasting possible.

The good news is that, as always, community members can watch City meetings remotely on eScribe and Zoom:

Also, as has been the case, community members may submit public comment and agenda correspondence to the City Council by emailing council@morrobayca.gov. Correspondence received by 10:00 a.m. on meeting day will be posted to the City's website.
