Two crews will be working concurrently in different areas.  American Pavement Systems, a subcontractor, will be laying a rubber chip seal, designed to increase surface durability and flexibility using recycled tires. Pavement Coatings will begin the final layer of Type 2 Microsurfacing which provides a finish top coat.  Work on this final layer is expected to conclude by April 14.
