The City's Draft Sign Ordinance has been updated and is ready for review.  The Sign Ordinance now proposes sign districts with regulations based on location in the City in order to better serve the needs of local businesses and protect the aesthetics of Morro Bay.  

Two public forums are scheduled to discuss the Draft Sign Ordinance to take public input and answer questions.  Forums will be held at Veteran's Memorial Building, 209 Surf Street from 9am to 1030am on Thursday, August 3, 2017 and Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Those businesses within the North Main and Quintana Districts will have a forum on Thursday August 3, 2017 from 9am to 1030am.  Businesses within the Downtown and Embarcadero districts will have a forum on Tuesday August 24, 2017.   Both forums will be held at Veteran's Memorial Building, 209 Surf Street.  Mail notices and fliers are being distributed.
