Come share your input on the future of the Morro Bay Power Plant property! The City will be holding a Community Workshop for the Morro Bay Power Plant Master Plan. The Workshop will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 6 pm-830 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building at 209 Surf Street. The workshop will be held to seek public input as part of the adoption of a Master Plan for the Power Plant property. The Master Plan component is part of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project which includes a proposal to change a portion of the property's land use designation from Visitor Serving Commercial to General Light Industrial.
