The State encourages residents to reduce their electricity use from 3 pm to 10 pm starting September 6th – Saturday 10th. Energy conservation during Flex Alerts is key to protecting grid reliability and preventing rotating outages.  For more information on how to conserve power, please see the press release below from the California Independent System Operator (ISO).
