Waterfront Master Plan Advisory Committee

The City of Morro Bay formed a special purpose Waterfront Master Plan Advisory Committee (WMPAC) consisting of community members and local stakeholders to act in an advisory capacity and provide recommendations to the Planning Commission and City Council.  The WMPAC will provide recommendations on policy and design components on the Waterfront Master Plan. The estimated completion date for the Waterfront Master Plan is November 30th, 2026. 

The WMPAC consists of eight (8) members. The City Council will attempt to select one member from each of the following categories:

                Recreation and Parks Commission;
                Citizens Finance Advisory Committee;
                Harbor Advisory Board; 
                Public Works Advisory Board;
                Planning Commission;
                Embarcadero Master Leaseholders;
                Morro Bay National Estuary Program; and
                Morro Bay Commercial Fishermen’s Organization

Waterfront Master Plan Advisory Committee meetings are usually held at 3:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month at the Veterans' Memorial Building at 209 Surf Street, Morro Bay, CA 93442. Agenda items and meeting minutes may be viewed here
